Do I need to book my own flights?
Yes. Please arrange your own air travel to the Bay Area.
Do I need to book my own accommodations?
No. Protocol Labs will provide private suites at Summit Skywalker Ranch for all participants from June 6–8, 2025.
When should I arrive at Skywalker Ranch?
You’re welcome to arrive any time after 10:00 AM on Friday, June 6. Formal programming begins in the early evening, so we recommend arriving by mid-afternoon.
What are my shuttle options?
Our Production Manager, Carolyn Lee, will be following up with those that requested a shuttle, and obtain your cell number so your driver can monitor your arrival and direct you to the pickup spot based on your flight information.
If the times do not align or are outside of the schedule, please feel free to arrange your own transportation for reimbursement.

Can I drive to the Ranch? Is there parking?
Yes. Valet parking will be available for guests who drive in.
When should I plan to depart?
Departures are expected any time before 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 8. The final session ends around midday, followed by lunch.
Is there a dress code?
No formal dress code. Come as you’re comfortable.
Weather in early June is typically mild—expect daytime highs in the low 70s°F (~22°C) and cooler evenings in the 50s°F (~13°C). We recommend layers and walking shoes, especially for outdoor activities.
Will meals be provided?
Yes. All meals, drinks, and snacks are provided throughout the retreat.
Can I bring a guest or plus-one?
This is a closed, curated retreat with limited capacity. We kindly ask that you do not bring guests unless explicitly discussed with the organizers.
Will I be expected to present or speak?
There are no required talks or slides unless previously arranged. Sessions are designed to be conversational, with breakout discussions and optional evening participation.
Is there cell service or Wi-Fi at the Ranch?
Yes, Wi-Fi will be available across the property. We encourage limited device use during sessions to stay present with the group.
What should I bring?
Comfortable indoor/outdoor clothing
Layers for cool evenings
Walking shoes or trail-appropriate footwear
A notebook (optional)
